DRAGON BALL GT may not have been very popular with fans of the original series, but it produced some outstanding music. DRAGON BALL GT split from tradition by turning to popular J-POP groups to provide the vocals instead of relying on Project DBZ. This created a new blend of music that, while different from the normal DRAGON BALL Z stock, still was a pleasure to listen to.

DAN DAN Kokoro Hikareteku ("I'm Slowly Falling In Love With You"), performed by Field of View, became the opening theme for DRAGON BALL GT during its entire run. This same song also was the ending theme for Saikyou E No Michi ("Road To The Strongest"), the Dragon Ball Memorial Movie that was released two summers ago. Hitorijanai ("I Am Not Alone") and Don't You See!, performed by DEEN and Zard respectively, are big favorites of fans, and what I believe to be the best two ending themes that the DRAGON BALL GT series produced (it produced four, the other two, Blue Velvet and Sabitsuita Machine Gun De Ima O Uchi Nukou, which will be posted here shortly).

Song 4, The Biggest Fight, is the excellent opening theme to the popular Dragon Ball Final Bout video game (Japanese version only). Hironobu Kageyama and Kuko (part of Project DBZ) return to DRAGON BALL once again and put up a stellar performance. The Dragon Ball Final Bout Original Soundtrack (where The Biggest Fight was recorded from) is still available. For those that want it, the catalog number is Zain Records ZACL-1042.
